WHAT TO EXPECT WITH EVERY APPOINTMENT
We’re pleased to welcome new patients to Buckner Animal Hospital! If you’re looking for a veterinary clinic you can trust, look no further. Our Dallas veterinarians are highly trained and offer superior medical care at affordable prices. We provide a full suite of veterinary services, including regular wellness exams and preventative care, as well as boarding, dentistry, radiology, and surgical services. We care for both dogs and cats!

New Patients
Before you visit our Dallas veterinary team, print and complete our online forms. Completing these forms ahead of time will make your check-in process quicker and reduce your wait time. We’ll use the information you provide to start your pet’s medical file. You can fax (214-388-0208) your intake form to us or bring it with you to your first appointment.

WELLNESS EXAMS FOR NEW PATIENTS
Most pets should see their veterinarian every six months. We know life gets in the way of even our own medical to-do list, so don’t worry if it’s been awhile since your pet was last seen. We’ll start with a comprehensive physical exam from head to tail that includes a dental exam. We may also order some laboratory tests to help us understand the full picture of your pet’s current health and establish a baseline for future reference.
Our Dallas veterinarians will ask you questions about your pet’s medical history, including vaccinations, and general questions about your pet’s behavior, eating habits, and mood. We’ll take our time to get to know your pet inside and out!
