Surgery Services & Pricing

A pre-surgical exam ($35) is required prior to scheduling any surgical procedure. This is ensure that your pet is healthy enough to go under anesthesia and so that we can provide you with an accurate cost estimate. 

If your pet is healthy and you decide to schedule an appointment for surgery, we'll ask for a $100 deposit to book the appointment. The $100 deposit will also be applied towards the total cost of the surgery.

  • The following requirements apply for all surgery patients:

• Patients must be current on vaccines at the time of surgery

• Patients must have normal anatomy & weight to reflect the surgical fees as listed

The following additional charges may apply:

•Bloodwork ($70): Determines whether your pet is an ideal candidate for anesthesia; highly recommended.This is required for all surgery patients aged 7 years or older
•Pain medication ($20-$60): Recommended to ease pain and inflammation, which promotes healing. Price depends on your pet's weight
•E-Collar ($18): Keeps your pet from licking the incision area; ideal for most surgeries
•Microchip ($30): Permanently identifies your pet; this is not a GPS device and will not allow you to track your pet

In addition to the procedures listed above, our doctors are able to perform several more surgeries, often at a lower cost than most veterinary hospitals. This includes (but is not limited to) the surgical procedures listed below:
Bone fracture repairs (casting, plating, pinning) Anterior cruciate knee repair
Luxating patella repair Hip surgeries
Tumor removals Eye surgeries (3rd eyelid repair, entropion repairs)
